Located only 30 minutes northwest of Bozeman and one hour south of Helena, Three Forks is a thriving town that offers plenty of history, outdoor activities, and retains its "Old Western Charm."

Situated just four miles from the city limits and accessible via the Headwaters Trail System, you can camp and fish where Lewis and Clarke set up camp in 1805. The trail, which was selected as the Montana Trail of the Year, also provides views of the surrounding mountains and grasslands, winds around ponds through old growth cottonwood trees, ending on the banks of the Jefferson River. The town of Three Forks is easily accessible off I-90 and lies en route between Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park.
